Not so pleasant stay in Makkah
Location in Aziziyya was good and transport plus parking around the hotel was plenty.
1. Although we arrived at 3am the room wasnt ready and we had to wait before a room was arranged. 2. At the time of checking in the receptionist asked to see the booking.com price and said he had to add the taxes and payment was paid by my credit card. However, at the checking out stage 3 days later, the lady receptionist asked for an additional payment of 8 Saudi riyals. I wasn't happy with this. 3. The room cards door-entry wasn't working and they tried to fix it but they provided a key to use instead of the cards. 4. The room was classified as deluxe or twin bedroom. i wasn't happy with its size and especially the toilet bathroom that was so small. 5. The room as well as the toilet bathroom was dirty. No room service ever came to ask for any cleaning or bed sheets changing. 6. In the booking.com hotel information they had stated that breakfast is set at 70sr per person and dinner at 50sr. However, when i asked them, they said food services are only for group bookings. Parking floors in the basement were found but the receptionist said parking is only on the surrounding streets.
